Finally made it to the summit. The catch is that my car was 10 miles down the road. Although I could have ran the 1-2 hours back down to the car, I was not feeling up for it. As soon as I saw the lights of the car, I tried hitch hiking. It was demoralizing, no one would stop!!... I got lucky at the tenth car (literally, I counted them all). And I really got lucky, the californian couple said that had they not being listening to a song about "helping a fellow hiker", they might not have stopped!!
