Ishinca is actually a pretty cool climb, we started very early, around the same time as a guided woman (François) from Clairmont-Ferrand...The first half goes up a nice trail, of which we missed the scenery because of the lack of daylight. Getting up on the glacier was fun as we went up 40 deg. ice (the easier way is up the left). Once you gain the glacier is fun going until you get to the summit pyramid. There you negotiate some fun crevasses and seracs to finish up with 60 meters of steep snow which will leave you breathless (not because of the scenery, but because the steepness! ji ji ji).
In the way down we took a nappiry-nap, which I took advantage for some artsy photos.
