Laguna Churup is a nice day hike to do from Huaraz, plus you get to live and prepared yourself for the exciting adventures in the peruvian roads. Some friends of Julia (she makes tons of friends, she is a boys-magnet) joined us as well as Susana, a sympathetic dutch girl a shared the bus ride to Huaraz.

I would like to point out that the water was cold, and Robert also learned that if you drop the camera into the lake and let it dry for a week, it will work.

Statistics: 1000m elev. gain. 6hrs roundtrip?
