After Sir Donald, I visited Vancouver, I stayed with a friend's mother, with whom I had great conversations and rapport. I visited the beautiful campus of the University of Vancouver. Then flew to San Diego for SIGGRAPH (big computer graphics conference) and then flew back to Vancouver. Managed to make it up to Squamish, a big climbing area outside of Vancouver, with long approaches (from 60 seconds to 4 minutes). I also managed some cultural activities: Visited Vancouver Island and the Bouchart gardens (compliments of Alea) and the Anthropology Museum at UBC.
