To Map of Outing

The latest trip report for this mountain called it "a sure bet." and given that the season (at least for the low montains) is coming to an end, we decided to give it a go (plus I really wanted to practice on a steep slope). We left late Friday, bivied in the parking lot and attacked at 7am.

This is a fun outing, it just goes up and up until the last slope where one puts on the crampons for a little stairmaster action, and then one realizes that one has to go down this stuff. The spring snow conditions makes it easier; had it been crappy snow...
