Waoh, what a party... this is what I am talking about... again I always misjudge the size of these things. So we celebrated the thesis defense of Damian in a gite (fancy drive-in refuge). Friday night, we were about 20-25, had large raclette dinner. Saturday went for a little hike, and Saturday night, major party, joined by another group of 20 or so. Lots of Damian's friends are dancers and musicians, so we had the whole band and chabab!, we closed the night with "broche de oro" avec a little game of Dominos with four venezuelans and lots of wine. I had a blast.
